“Being confident at spellings, leads to confidence in all aspects of literacy”
An Inter-House Spell Well Competition was organized on 20th July 2019 in the school Auditorium Hall, for the grades 3rd-8th. This competition is one of the numerous enjoyable competitions that give students a platform to learn spellings in different ways. It help students improve their spellings, increase their vocabulary, learn concepts, and develop the use of correct English.
The competition was divided into two slots according to the level, in which the students from class 3rd to 5th was the first slot and the competition was divided into two categories (Pictorial round and Pronunciation round), for the second slot of classes 6th-8th, the two categories were (one word substitution round and pronunciation round).
10 students from each of the houses participated and the winners, were the ARYABHATTA HOUSE in the slot of classes 3rd to 5th and the EKLAVYAA HOUSE in the slot of classes 6th-8th.
Children participated earnestly in the competition. Their efforts and initiative was appreciated by one and all and were equally motivated by the audience and their house mistresses.
